MAKE MODULE: OVERSIZED WHITE NEOPRENE TOP WITH REFLECTIVE PERFORATED PANELS
Hi guys, apologies for the lack of blogging lately. University has kicked off in full force. Whilst I type this, two new modules are being given out. As they say, ain't no rest for the wicked!
I wanted to share with you what I've just completed and handed in for the last module, we were set the task of draping on the stand and transferring our draped creation onto pattern paper to be manufactured into a garment. I knew quite early on I wanted to work with neoprene, which I eventually sourced from Cloth House London, a renowned fabric retailer who now have an online store, which is fabulous.
Once I had draped on the stand and completed my toile, I had to work with the neoprene, the panels were tricky little buggers to control but once I mastered it I've become pretty proud of the finished product, I hope you lot like it too!
